Welcome to Lindon heirloom toys. We are a small family business, based in the beautiful Hunter Valley, New South Wales Australia. We are a family of 4, leading a quiet, clean homestead lifestyle. We share our small patch of heaven with a variety of wildlife and barnyard friends and raise bees and vegetables.

I am Tahlie Lindon, designer, maker, and mum of twin 4 year old boys. I was Steiner educated, and grew up immersed in the softness and beauty at home and at school. I am inspired by the natural materials, gentle colours and soft edges of my childhood, and draw on Waldorf philosophy in my toy designs.

OUR TOYS

At Lindon heirloom toys, our goal is to design and create beautiful high quality objects that are natural, non-toxic, tactile and nourishing. We make heirloom toys, toys that a child will pass down to their own children one day. We aim to represent nature and the world with simplicity and reverence, and capture just the essence of the thing we are representing. The horse, car and boat are recognisable, but the simplicity leaves a child's mind open to exploration, wonder and imagination. Our range of handmade toys are designed to support your child's development through exploration and play, by engaging all of their their senses, and sparking curiosity.

TREAD LIGHTLY

We are dedicated to improving the health of the world, socially and environmentally. We aim to reduce the load on landfill, by producing high quality toys that will be passed down and not end up in the rubbish. We use ethically and sustainably sourced materials, reclaimed timbers, non-toxic and plastic free finishes, and use carbon neutral shipping options. We have room to improve, and we will always strive to do better. If you have a suggestion, we would love to hear from you.
