Toy Care & Safety

Toy Care

Wooden toys should not be submerged in water unless stated that they are suitable for water play. Wooden toys for water play should not be left submerged or floating, and be allowed to dry thoroughly. Prolonged contact with water and soap may damage the finish and discolour the wood. Clean wooden toys by wiping with a damp cloth.

Maintain your wooden toys by applying a timber conditioner once a year, after cleaning or if timber appears dry. Apply a food safe finish like cutting board/butcher block finish, readily available in hardware stores.
